Making banana bread is a great way to use up those old bananas that have gone a bit too brown and squishy. I decided to make this standard banana bread recipe more interesting by swirling chocolate and hazelnuts into the top before baking, but if you like you can leave that step out and enjoy the simple banana flavour all on its own. I’ve also used maple syrup instead of processed sugar, so it’s a fairly healthy treat. Read more

These granola bars make a great afternoon snack with a cup of tea or a quick energy boost before the gym. Filled with healthy seeds and with no added sugar, they are a guilt-free treat! I included some dried fruit, since the amount in each bar should be low enough to not cause any problems, but if you react badly to dried fruit, you can leave this out. Read more
